Welcome to Creative Art Photography, a small studio based in Canberra. My photographic focus is on people and, with this mind, I specialise in portraits, glamour, fashion, lingerie, fine art nudes and street photography.

Photography is much more than reproduction of an image that reflects an instant of reality and nothing else. Nor is it a hasty snap shot taken on the spur of the moment.
It is an art form that depends on a range of carefully considered inputs that include composition, location, lighting, angles and originality. A great photograph captures more than reality; it contains the essence underlying reality.
There is no such thing as a perfect photograph, yet photographers never cease to search for it. And that is part of a photograph's appeal.
The photographers whom I find most inspiring include Yousuf Karsh, Man Ray, Helmut Newton, and Henri Cartier Bresson.

“A photograph is a click away. A good photograph is a thousand clicks away and a better one, a million clicks away.” (Kowtham Kumar K)
“When you photograph people in color you photograph their clothes. When you photograph people in black and white, you photograph their soul!” (Ted Grant)
